When I got this, I was cursing the sender la. hahahaha. Seriously, it's the first time i got tagged to do such a thing. Ok, so here goes, starting with Dislikes first:
1) Morning Assembly. Coz I always arrived late. And I was usually still dreaming during assembly. I also don't like to see crowds early in the morning. A3A's always one of the last classes to stand in a line coz everyone didn't like to stand right in front. So it'll always be the Anli and me who stands in front. Drats.
2) The new skirt and PE shorts. Untolerable!
3) Afternoon classes, esp in lit classrooms. Little ventilation, bloated, sleepy and poems to chant. Best combination to gather a pool of drool in class.
4) No fixed classrooms. Somehow, the cohesiveness is not as strong as compared to sec school. I dunno if this problem lies in JC politics, or no fixed classrms or just tt we are too tired to make friends outside our own classes...but I guess if this idea is implemented, the bond within each class or even the whole school will be stronger. Agreed?
5) Pollution. This cannot be blamed. Half of the school is newly built and there was half of the remains of the old school. 2 yrs of construction is where I studied in. I left school almost everyday seeing banglas.
Now for the LIKES!!!
1) Dedicated teachers, of whom most have left or aged. Nandwani, Ms Yue, Tong and Cara Chew. These are the teachers that deserved my utmost respect.
2) 2 yrs of band. From nothing to something. Picking up an instrument, loving music and the whole coordination as a band. Late nights out with band members, be it practices or suppers.
3) 04A3A. It's where all the fun begins. Trust me, it feels good when we flopped our studies together. That's when i know i'm not alone. haha.
4) Interactive classes. That's where the niche of JC education system lies. or maybe at least for arts subjects. way better than spoonfeeding system. Interactive means making sense out of the crap u're talking bout...way better than listening to teachers talk and i drool.
5) Wanton mee uncle. When he's gone, the canteen's gone la...maybe except for the fruit stall aunty. I miss his curly hair and his award-winning noodles. The influence in his words has left a deep impact of those who bought noodles from him before. He's simply everyone's beloved.
Well, I got to admit that JC life wasn't fantastic for me. But I'm glad it crossed my life because I got to learn a lot of things within only a short span of 2 yrs. I learnt to understand myself and my own limits better. And i'm glad i survived the 2 yrs with whoever stood by me.

IFRIT!
Camp was good! Two words: fun & dirty! There's too much to explain but all in all, foc was awesome & im glad freshies love it too. there's always mass chat every night and tt's 25 ppl in an og for you. im roasted now but i feel good coz ric commented i slimmed down. ha! it's not the weight but the tan that makes me look better. deceiving myself but whatever...ha! loving it!
Not all are present in these photos coz some of them went toilet, some were sick and were sent home etc. But i'm so glad Ifrit didn't suffer any severe injuries. Thank God. Cluedo & Fright night were fantastic coz of the brilliant acting by seniors. Anw, i'm thankful i get to interact and know more freshies. It feels good to be youthful. hahaha.
And thanks to one of our pageant representatives, most of our og members got hooked onto this song! damn emo! I like!

'Untitled'
I'm all good now! Back to being healthy feels good. But the bad side is i've been eating trashy food already, so it's impossible to lose some weight. =<
Just caught potter and i must say it's pretty disappointing, just like what min commented. The pace of the movie was too fast and there was less effort put into graphics and magical details of the movie. So, if you're going to watch potter, and if you're like me who contains short term memory of previous potter movies or has nv read a single book by rowling, do grab one of ur potter fanatic frens to go watch with u to help clear your doubts during or after the movie alright? (:
On a side-note, I DID A LOT OF SHOPPING RECENTLY WHICH EXCITES THE HELL OUT OF ME BUT THIS ADDICTION KILLS ME TOO! Dorothy Perkins is currently having a sales now so go grab items! yea i know how aunty i can be. but this is for ur good. so am i a good fren or what! I might bring my mom down tml! (: oh man. this is goodness. this is life.
And being all good and nerdy today, I decided to go down to the central library to borrow a couple of books. Haruki Murakami's 'After The Quake' and guess what! Arundhati Roy's 'The God Of Small Things'! Brilliant findings! To think I thought I have to read it only when the new sem starts coz the info lady told me the book's in transit. I wanted to find potter's and orwell's 1984 but to no avail. should b able to borrow from one of my frens though. so am fine with it. will start on the borrowed books after i finish Murakami's 'Birthday Stories'.
Recently, some things caught me thinking and somehow, I think I've been both bad and good. Maybe I can plug my ears and listen to that song whenever I'm dealing with such a situation. Good for a reminder, i guess. I've been thinking of solutions. I was caught by surprise that my long term solution is considered short to my fren. He brought me thinking further. and much much further. Somehow, it's pathetic when u know you want it but you cant have it your way. Hmmm. What if it's not a want, but a need? Sigh.
Anw, camp's not even here but there has been a lot of communication and orders and call ins and outs from the start of this week. I need some planning too for something which I cannot say in here. It's going to tiring man, and hopefully all the fun will make the tiredness worthwhile.

The World's Spinning
This has to happen just before camp.
I'm drowsy and weak. And as if this wasn't bad enough, I didn't manage to get a good rest last night. The dream was so real and saddening.
Anw, being sick means, hopefully, that I get to eat bland food and slim down.
And then pray that I get well before the camp.
Recently, my moolahs were sucked away by the evil forces of this thing called NETS. No more moolahs to spend already. So dead.
It's time to read books and get good rests these few days before going to the east. I hope you get a good rest tonight.

Hysterical People With the Mysterious Donuts-Mystery Solved
This entry starts off with an advertorial. A pretty girl with a pretty donut. Or you can add on and say because of a good photographer, this shot was taken beautifully. I appreciate if credits are given to yours truly. HAHAHA. Ok rubbish aside. If you havent got to taste a single donut from donut factory becoz you mind the freaking long queue, hallelujah my friends. Come seek haven in Suntec City. You'll find there's two queues. The freaking long queue which usually lines up to the toilet (that's for ppl who buy donuts in dozens) and a mini queue for each person to buy only 2 donuts at a go. So I got my 1st taste at this donut thinking that I will NEVER be like others who queue donuts for 1-3hrs. Benben and me bought two donuts each and...
Voila!!! Les raspberry dark chocolat donut est tres delicieux!!! (Lo & behold! The raspberry dark chocolate donut is very delicious!!) If you're doing a take away, I suggest you eat it immediately once you purchase your orders! Melted chocolate on crispy donut with raspberry filling should be eaten hot!
We were pretty full after that and so we sneaked our sugar glazed donuts into the theatre while the rest of the audience was crunching on nachos. Ho! Heavenly glazed. I guess it was the moist of the donuts that did the trick.
I was telling benben when we were in the queue (just to let u know we queued for only bout 5-10mins) that THE DONUTS SHINE. I mean it literally! ok la, and a pun intended too. haha. she told me yeah man!! All their donuts shine. So you see why she'll be crazy to go down to Suntec every wk to get her donuts. siao char bo. and so you see why there's the craze with donuts.
2 is enough for me. My principle holds. I will never join the long queue. Go for the short queue if you want to know what's going on in the minds of the ppl in the long queue. ;)

I Quit
Yes, I've ended my work on last fri. Actually, the plan to 'resign' earlier was unexpected but the workload is taking a toll on me. So I told my manager in advance that I will be quitting at the end of june instead of mid july. Obviously, her being the manager, she was a lil unhappy. I don't wish to spread my own opinion about her personality so I shall shut that information out.
On Sunday, one day after I've quitted my job, I received a morning phonecall from my assist manager to ask if I could help her out today. I realised my other colleagues' attendance was disastrous after I left. My fav colleague tendered her resignation 1 mth earlier on fri, and did not turn up on sunday coz of her eye infection. My other colleague did not turned up for work coz she wanted to quit her job last min. But all along, I knew where the mistake lies. So this didn't turn out surprising, just that I thought it was going too fast. I decided to help out on a Sunday in the end, working with my assist manager and a new part-time colleague.
Today, one day after the helping out, I received a morning phonecall from my assist manager again. She's working alone coz my colleague's eye infection is not fully recovered. I rejected her coz I have to attend a talk later on. Later, she called again to ask me to standby these few days. I told her I have a meeting tml. She understood that I will be busy these few days, so she said sorry for waking me up twice and put down the phone.
3 times after I've quitted my job, I got woken up by job calls. Who likes to get woken up by phonecalls? And it's not that I do not want to help, I have appointments. And seriously, helping out once in a while is ok, but not continuously after I've quitted my job! I understand your plight, but do you understand your employees' plight? Why did it turn out that there is this sudden plunge in attendance? Can you see what is going wrong?
The answer's clear and obvious. I hope the manager realises it soon.
