What's INteresting
I hardly do an entry on videos, so if i do, it means either the video is showing sth significant in my life or sth tt excites me A LOT. And for today, it's the latter! You have got to watch these AMAZING short clips.
And saving the best for the last is a clip on TIME LAPSE. This video is done using one real camera compiling abt a 1-2K photos into merely a 3min slideshow. There's no usage of 3D animation software at all and a video cam could most probably never make this happen. It makes life and living in a city look so surreal. Blogger wouldn't allow me to upload this video probably coz it's in divx format. Trust me, if u click this link but u don't have divx program, do dload it anw. it's virus-free and only takes less than 10 secs to dload. The video's worth it. I'm really interested in doing this for the summer break. it beats the current trend of playing with lomos. (:
I'd wanted to end this entry the way it is just after the last link. But this is just a comment after watching the vids to let anyone who reads my blog know that even if you render yourself as being ordinary, useless or don't even know what your future holds, you are still capable of doing something amazing too. I wish you a brilliant week ahead.

Phwoah. I'd rate Michael Radford's The Merchant of Venice to be one of the best modern Shakespeare adaptations.
Al Pacino's acting is awesome. The plot was a breathtaking ride, presenting to the audience different layers of complexity and problems leaving one hopelessly dumbfounded and unanswered. What would you do, if you were in Venice, 1596?
P.S: Thanks sonny sooooooooo much for lending me the dvd you just bought! I felt so bad coz you havent even watched it and i took it away from you. I'm sure you'll love the film as much as I do and I'm so glad you're coming into the same course as me. I owe you one mala! (:

You know life is crazy when you take a nap from 930-1030pm. That's what i just did.
To start off, i was in school from 12pm and stayed in school till 10+pm yesterday for 'HSS Nite', went back to hall to prepare Biz Law presentation. Slept at 3+am. And today, I had to be in school at 1030am to tend the HSS booth with fellow maincommers and some other subcommers. Finished lessons (including an interesting but excruciating 3hr seminar for my core module and then Biz Law tut) at 730pm and hell yes, the five of us were so glad that Biz Law presentation went fairly well, we went for can2 to have our tiny celebratory dinner. Left at 9pm and BANG, i bth liao. Just lie on the bed without having bathed. And you know how I can't stand having that particular canteen leaving the smell on my clothes. But heck, i'm that tired.
Got to wake up and not sleep on coz I still have french hw including essay to hand in tml. Have not prepared for test on Friday yet so got to start preparing either later or tml.
So wish me luck. And don't give me more work. I've got to give piano lessons on thurs and work as an ambassador for NTU-HSS this sat. And although next wk's the recess wk, I've got two assignments (think 2K words per essay) on hand which are due after that week. So, there is no reason to tell me to stop shopping or spending for now, ok?

Que Sera Sera (Part II)
"I have noth to say la. This period, I call it Giving everything up to fate. Just tk the back seat and let things be. Too tired to fight for what I want."
"Is that why you're quiet just now?"
"Was I v quiet? How come I din know? What happened to mi?"
"Go watch some huan zhu ge ge make urself laugh"
"Huan zhu ge ge is lame. I dunno y i watched tt in the past."
"I oso wan to b like them. Everyday find trouble for themselves."
"Haha. I should really go back to the olden days."
Escapism. Recently, the atmosphere's depressing. I've heard bout failed r/s, complicated ones, and I myself have problems with family matters and some particular friendship. It's just that I can't be bothered to deal with them now. Not because I don't care, but because I'm too jaded and vexed by these issues.
And what's more with the neverending school events, assignments, tests and presentations. All of us, at some time, choose to give up not because we cannot do it, but because we tried all means to solve it but fate makes a fool of us. Perhaps we're all trying too hard.
Lately, I've been having thoughts of running away after I graduate. To a faraway country where I shall start anew, earn the money I ought to, be in a place where there is genuine passion to love the people and things you do and get my smile back. I won't say I'll be running away, but this will be the time to recuperate myself and get myself back into real action. To learn things outside and apply them when I'm back on this red dot. To venture out because I possibly can't learn from the inside.
Well as you've possibly heard, the worst of situations makes the best of literature. And for the one who laughs at all my tragedies, you know who you are, just wanted to let you know I never thought this method could be one of the ways to make me laugh helplessly and realise I'm making a fool out of myself.
Whatever will be, will be.
